This is the time of year when we need more blankets, comforters, flat sheets and pillowcases for our animals’ bedding. Linen donations can be dropped off in our Gift Shop from 9:30am to 4:30pm daily.
Thanks to this hard working group of volunteers from WP Engine, our African Crested Porcupines Quill, Grace, Agave and Aziza will be moving into their new habitat today! On this Veteran’s Day holiday, come visit some of our recent rescues – Cougars Vera and Beaux. In honor of Veteran’s Day, all active duty and retired military guests will be admitted free of charge when they present their military ID. We appreciate their service.

Austin Zoo’s opens daily at 9:30am and will remain open until 5:30pm. The Gift Shop closes at 4:30 and will not admit any guest into the Zoo after that time.

Caique Elvis got lots of great new enrichment toys thanks to the sixth grade students at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders.
