Program Details

• Each 30-minute program is designed for up to 30 students (unless otherwise noted). Larger groups will need to be split into separate program times.
• Teachers should be present for programs to assist with behavior management. Chaperones are not permitted to attend programs.
• Most lessons can be adapted to students Pre K through 12th grade. Please refer to program descriptions.
• Rate: $3.00 per student.

Animal Habitats

From hiding in a grassland, to flying over a rainforest, explore the different environments around the world and the animals that come from them.

Who Eats Who

Food chains, webs and pyramids! Discover some of our zoo friends' diets and natural food sources, and how all our species are interconnected to make up different ecosystems.

Creative Covers

Discover how different animals use their unique coverings to survive in the wild. From fur and feathers to scales and shells, explore the incredible diversity of animals and uncover the fascinating stories behind them.

Wildlife Careers

Join us for an inspiring zoo education program about wildlife careers! Delve into the world of animal care, conservation science, wildlife education and so much more. Uncover the endless possibilities that await you in the world of wildlife careers. (For older students.)

Owl Pellet Dissection (30 min, 1 available per day, up to 15 students)

Excited young scientists get a chance to do a hands-on lab that you don’t have to set up or clean up! Students will be able to dissect owl pellets in groups to discover the different diets of owls, different owl types of the United States and piece together actual skeletons of prey!
