Explore the animal habitats, attend zookeeper chats, feed some animals, ride the train, bring a picnic and find a treasure in the gift shop.
Want an up-close-and-personal animal encounter? Want a special location for a birthday party? Looking for some fun activities for your kids or the whole family to participate in at the zoo? Enhance your visit to the zoo with one of these!
Get ready for an up close and personal encounter, these gentle giants love eating lettuce right from your hand. Cost is $25/person.
Meet Our Capybaras
This group of good tempered and gregarious animals will absolutely delight you during your visit with them. Cost is $60/person.
Explore Education & Camps
Our diverse education programs cater to children, families, homeschool groups, and scouts, offering enriching experiences for all ages. Cost varies.
Book A Private Party
The zoo is a great location for a birthday party or event. Book a fun-filled day in our Picnic Area or in one of our three venues.
Our first train ride everyday Monday through Sunday is at 9:30 am, last train Monday – Friday 2:30 pm and last train Saturday and Sunday is 4:00 pm. You may purchase your tickets at the train station. Our train operates everyday unless we experience inclement weather. To book a birthday party or field trip train ride, or to inquire about the train schedule, please call the following number: 512-788-5282
Tickets are $5.00 plus tax, purchased at the Train Depot inside the zoo.
