Programs for kids of all ages
Join Austin Zoo for some wildly fun programs and camps for kids ages 10 months and up! Sign up for a couple of programs or the whole series from September to December, 2024.
Enjoy a day at the zoo – Explore the animal habitats, attend zookeeper chats, feed some animals, ride the train, bring a picnic and find a treasure in the gift shop.
Personalize your visit – Schedule a private animal encounter. Planning a celebration? Our event spaces are perfect for birthday parties, corporate events and other private gatherings.
Learn something new – Our educational programs cater to all ages and interests from school field trips to kid’s camps, to our family nature series and scout programs.
Private Animal Encounters
Are you ready for a unique and intimate animal experience? Join us for private sessions where small groups can meet our Capybaras or Galapagos Tortoises up close. Each 25-30 minute session is guided by one of our knowledgeable staff members, who will share fascinating insights and information about these incredible animals.
